Asian Securitex 2006

The 9th Asian International Security, Safety and Fire Protection Show & Conference

Since 1990, Asian Securitex has become an established international security event in Asia, and is on the cutting edge of trends and technology sophistication that spread worldwide. Building on the success of previous editions, Asian Securitex is returning on 7-9 June 2006 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre for its 9^th edition. The 2006 show delivers a showcase of the latest security, safety and fire protection products and technologies, including access control systems, alarm systems, biometrics, CCTV & surveillance systems, smartcard technology, fire alarm equipment and locks & safes.

This biennial trade show is co-located with Asian Elenex 2006 and Asian Building Technologies 2006. Being internationally recognised by its acclaimed success edition after edition, this unique 3-in-1 show will occupy an exhibition area of 12,000sqm, and more than 700 international exhibitors from 40+ countries and regions are anticipated to trade at this 2006 show – of which 300 companies participating in Asian Securitex 2006.

The high profile Asian Securitex 2006 Conference will be organized again. Themed “Safety & Security at Public Events”, this conference will include case studies on Hong Kong Disney Land, the 2008 Beijing Olympics and Macau’s latest casino developments. The conference advisory panel comprises of Asian Professional Security Association (Hong Kong Chapter), ASIS International (Hong Kong Chapter), Hong Kong Police – Crime Prevention Bureau, Hong Kong Security Association, and International Professional Security Association (Hong Kong Chapter).
