Programme Highlights

OHSAS 18001 is an international audit scheme for Occupational Safety and Health Management System which has been in existence since 1999. The technical talk will provide an introduction of OHSAS 18001 and experience sharing in the context of Hong Kong and China from the perspective of certification body as well as from practitioner.

Speaker

Mr Thomas Wong is the Certification Officer of SGS Hong Kong Limited. He is a registered safety officer and auditor. He has rich experience in auditing quality, environmental and safety management systems for over 100 companies of various industries and service sectors, include manufacturing, plastics, electronics, property management, building, cleaning, hotel, laboratories, printing, dyeing, engineering and retailing.

Ir Richard Tse was the EHS Manager and Six Sigma Black Belt of a Global Fortune 500 company. He was responsible for leading all environment, health and safety efforts for all operation sites throughout Asia. He has experience in developing, implementing and maintaining EHS management system in Asia. He is a registered safety officer and auditor in Hong Kong and a member of IOSH.
